The fruit for this wine originates from the Awatere and Wairau valleys in Marlborough. Expert canopy management, including shoot thinning and leaf plucking, has ensured vine health, ideal vineyard flavours and clean, ripe fruit. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night to ensure it arrived at the winery in pristine condition.

Winemaking

Harvested at ultimate ripeness the select parcels of fruit are processed separately to provide the greatest number of options for our Cellar Selection blend. From here the winemakers are careful adopt various techniques, from the ferment to the bottling of the wine, to retain the purity and enhance the intensity of flavors and aromas of this classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

A pure expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, bursting with aromas of passionfruit, kaffir lime and gooseberry. It is powerful and juicy, displaying vibrant grapefruit notes with fantastic mid-palate weight, and a balanced acidity.

Fresh pan fried fish or sautéed scallops with grilled seasonal vegetables.
