St. Patty’s Day Recipes

That little green jolly leprachaun is almost with us, and with him comes the excuse to drink and party like we’re all hard Irish folks who can actually handle ourselves. Just in time for St. Patty’s Day, we’ve compiled a few of our favorite St. Patty’s Day drinks, so you can all embrace your inner Irishman/woman. We’ve also got plenty of good old fashioned Irish Whiskey if you like to keep it simple.
The Everybody’s Irish:
2 oz of Irish Whiskey
1 oz of Green Creme de Menthe
1 oz of Green Chartreuse
Grab your cocktail shaker and fill it with ice. Add all the ingredients, shake it up and strain it into a cocktail glass.
The Irish Lady
1 oz Midori melon liqueur
3 oz Champagne
1 oz orange juice
Almost fill a champagne flute with champagne. Add midori and orange juice, and serve.
The Irish Coffee
4 ounces strong, rich hot coffee
1 ounce Irish whiskey
2 tsp brown sugar
1 ounce lightly whipped double cream
Pour the sugar then coffee into a warm Irish coffee glass, mug, or other heat-proof stemmed glass.
Stir until dissolved.
Add the Irish whiskey and stir again.
Float the cream on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon. Do not stir again, instead drink the coffee through the cream.
Swing by QL to stock up for all your festivities!
