Stranahan's Sherry Cask Single Malt Whiskey is an American single malt whiskey with an intense, bold flavor perfect for sipping. The complex flavor is developed after being aged for four years in new white American oak barrels, and then again in 40-year-old cask-finished Spanish Oloroso Sherry barrels, which results in a depth of flavor soaked into the ancient oak staves.
Color: Rich, sherry amber
Nose: Over-ripe cherry, sweet apples, raisins, almonds, leather and freshly-cut hay
Palate: Honey, Montmorency cherries, black currant and fig, with nutty brine and walnut characteristics
Finish: Buttery caramel, whipped cream, brown sugar and smoked cayenne
