Slaughter House American Whiskey
California winemaker David Phinney of Orin Swift Cellars has burst into the world of whiskey with a unique entree. Slaughter House Whiskey rested in former wine casks (containing a Bordeaux-styled blended red) before being bottled.
The whiskey is then cut with water from Phinney’s own hillside spring. It's a real homestead drop from Napa Valley wine country.
Intense and inviting with caramelized sugar, baking spices, dark fruits, butterscotch and vanilla notes. The palate is smooth, ultra rich and layered. The finish is impressive with honey, toast and loads of caramel.
