Morlach 20 Year Old Single Malt Scotch
The Morlach 20 Year Old is a beautiful, rounded whisky intended for the connoisseur who nevertheless takes pleasure in the thought that his wealth of experience has not made him jaded to the subtle pleasures of life.
To tame the ‘Beast of Dufftown’, no amount of alcohol is enough. For you see, the whisky industry drowns it in casks each and every day. But in our 3 acre warehouse we have chosen a different approach.
The oldest of three Mortlach single malts unveiled in mid-2018 (alongside the Mortlach 12 Year Old and Mortlach 16 Year Old), this expression matured for 20 years exclusively in sherry casks. Intensely flavoursome stuff (as we've come to expect from Mortlach).

Old Copper
Body:
Robust and rich. Palate clinging
Nose:
Dense, elegant & intriguing. Dried fruit, cedarwood, leather, and tobacco.
Palate:
Robust palate with a coating of oiliness. Aromatic citrus. Hints of wood spice opening into a dark, meatiness of barbecue pork crackling. Berries, jam & cocoa nibs add brightness.
Finish:
Deep and complex, with gingerbread, raisin, and a hint of liquorice.
