Manzanita Serenity Barley

Patience is a difficult virtue to cultivate in the chaotic day-to-day life of a young brewery on the move. When we originally brewed Serenity for our first anniversary we set out to celebrate an uncertain future. After we settled into our second brewery we decided to revisit this beer, this time maturing it in Tennessee Whiskey Barrels. This vintage unfolds with flavors of vanilla, warm whiskey spice, and succulent molasses. A deep, dark fruitiness reminiscent of plums and figs heightens as the beer warms, melding intricately with the pleasant semi-sweet finish. Sip slowly and savor the Serenity.
