Manzanita Gillespie Brown 22oz Big, spicy dark brown ale. Attractive reddish brown in the snifter. Quite fragrant with more than a hint of fruitcake. Whiffs of alcohol for sure. Tastes even stronger than it is. Rum comes to mind. Quite rich, fairly sweet. Big hop flavor comes on and really delivers some resins and a lot of spice. Kind of a bitter nutmeg.
