Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequila
Juan Dobel, working with Maestros Marco Anguiano and Luis Yerenas, wanted to create his own brand and offer Tequila Aficionados something truly unique. Each Agave used is grown for 8 to 10 years, and hand selected at one of a small number of our family's best quality producing ranches. This hand-crafted product is produced in small batches and aged in new oak casks from Southern Europe.
The agave selected for Maestro Dobel grows in the volcanic lowlands of the Jalisco region, producing a tequila with lighter herbal and citrus aromas. This hand-selected agave, combined with the tequila’s double distillation in post stills creates an exceptionally crisp tequila.
Have you ever seen a tequila that's crystal clear? Even the most casual tequila aficionado will tell you that this is, traditionally, impossible to do. Aged tequila, or any aged spirit, picks up both color and flavor from the barrels it is aged in. For many connoisseurs, it's either 'the darker and older, the better', or they 'prefer the silver (unaged) tequila as the purest expression' of the spirit.
