Lagavulin 2006 / 2021 The Distillers Edition
It smells very sweet and has a big, round mouthfeel with lots of sweetness. The nose has a lot of fruit, especially apples and pears with vanilla and a little citrus. On the palate there's dark chocolate, cherries, vanilla, honey and plums. The finish is long and mellow with oak, chocolate and caramel.
This is a great tasting whisky that would be perfect for anyone who enjoys sherry cask whiskies.
