Journeyman Last Feather Rye
The Journeyman Last Feather Rye is made in limited batches in new, 15 gallon charred oak white barrels. It is made in the Ravenswood neighborhood of Chicago. The barrels provide the ultimate flavor to this 90-proof rye whiskey. The mash is a combination of both rye and wheat. Drink this flavorful rye whiskey straight, on the rocks, or in a cocktail such as a Whiskey Sour.
Journeyman Last Feather Rye Whiskey is a wheat heavy rye whiskey from the Journeyman Distillery. It’s named as such as a hold on to hope that the three rye whiskies (Last Feather, Heart of Darkness and Frontier)
TASTING NOTES
Ripe banana on the note, spice and pepper of rye really well balanced with sweetness of wheat, fruit notes, clean and dry, mint notes - easy drinking.
