This rich, fragrant bourbon began as a simple experiment to find out bourbon's reaction to weather extreme elements. The result was bourbon that was dark and thick, with complex flavors closely resembling dark rums. The sugars caramelize, causing a dark color and a sweet flavor.
Briny and savory, the flavor reminds the tongue of scotch flavors, but this remains a true bourbon at its heart. Pair this rich, delectable flavor with foods such as wedge salads infused with dill dressings, deviled eggs, jambalaya dishes, or desserts, such as chocolate torte.
