The Fee family have a rich and varied family history which dates back to 1835 when Irish immigrant Owen Fee first arrived on American soil. It is evident from their time-line that the family are entrepreneurial, that they have an all American toughness of spirit, a spirit that has seen them and their families through some good and some very tough times.
From butchers shop to saloon, liquor store and wine merchant to cordial and syrup manufacturer over the years business has accrued, dwindled and diversified in order to survive. Cordial and syrup manufacture perhaps the result of the strictures of Prohibition becoming the most successful of their endeavors, and which gave rise to their original Frothy Mixer back and the Fee Brothers motto ‘Don’t Squeeze Use Fees’ in the 1930's.
