Cascade 2015 Project Apricot
This NW style sour ale is a blend of blond ales that were barrel aged for up to 12 months, then aged on fresh apricots for an additional eight months. Aroma of sweet apricot blossoms and tart fruit are the first to be noticed. Deep rich apricot flesh and light acid notes dance on the palate and lead to a finish of sweet apricot flesh and lingering fruit tartness in the finish.
