Booker's Bourbon 2016-01 Bluegrass Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
For the love of everything uncut, unfiltered and perfectly balanced, there is Jim Beam’s Bookers Bluegrass 2016-01. While it is the first release for 2016, the supplies are limited and quickly dwindling. Just shy of its Seven year Itch, the Bookers Bluegrass is sure to please the best of Kentucky Bourbon Lovers.
The seven separate rack houses and three separate stories aim to create supreme bourbon that ages to that peak perfection and then bottle the unfiltered liquid gold directly from the charred barrels. There, you get the best in aromas, tastes and finishes.
A- Full Bodied and rich vanilla is first to greet you followed by the creamy caramel notes lingering hints of slightly smoky but inviting
P- A perfect combination when nose and palette carry forward similar characteristics- the intricate combination of the charred oak, nuts and vanilla play so well together that it is often difficult to fully separate the tastes into individual notes.
F- Full mouth, it holds on long and can be sipped neat but some prefer a bit of ice or water,
The first release of the year and it is peaked so well, one can only hope that those who are able to hold in a bit longer can even begin to measure up to half of the 01 2016’s quality.
