Berkshire Bourbon
Based in Massachusetts, Berkshire Mountain Distillers handcrafts its bourbon using nothing but local corn. Once the resulting spirit has come out of the distillation process, it is aged to perfection using American white oak barrels, which contributes much to its careful balance of competing flavors.
It starts with an intoxicating blend of rye, vanilla, and mature fruit which somehow manages to leave lingering notes of caramel as well as toasted nuts upon the tongue, thus making it well-suited to a wide range of tastes. In a way, BMD Berkshire Bourbon can be considered a quintessentially American spirit, which is exactly what bourbon should be.
