Alpine Irish Red Ale

From a tiny brewery in Alpine, CA, renowned for their quality ales comes a stonkingly good Irish Red Ale made with no fewer than 11 different malts, skilfully combined creating a beer with a complex malty, sweet flavor and aroma.

This low hops beer pours auburn red, semi-clear in the glass with a good 2 finger frothy head. Nicely carbonated the bubbles gently rise from the base of the glass. The delicious aroma of caramel, chocolate, toffee, roasted nuts and toasted coffee and cocoa with a slight coppery tone.

Bitter and sweet with chocolates, dry rye male and coffee malts combine with and deliver all the flavors of the aroma. It is medium bodied and oil with a nutty bitter finish.
