Four Roses 2021 Limited Edition

This year, Four Roses Master Distiller Brent Elliot has unveiled the blend for the 2021 Limited Edition Small Batch. Each year, the distillery releases a barrel proof blend of just a few of their 10 different bourbon recipes. It's a great way to taste several different expressions in one bottle—and it's delicious, obviously.

This year's release is crafted from a 14-year-old OBSV recipe and an 18-year-old OESK recipe, both from Four Roses' most award-winning cookbook. The resulting batch is spicy and rich with a hint of sweetness, with notes of anise and caramelized apples up front. It finishes with notes of vanilla frosting, toasted oak and cocoa nibs. And it comes in a beautiful bottle!
