Firestone Sucaba 2015: A Craft Beer Treasure
Firestone Sucaba 2015
From Firestone Walker Brewing Company’s Limited Edition Proprietor's Vintage Series comes their §ucaba 2015, a secret blend of two of Firestones beers.
§ucaba is a magnificent English barleywine styled sipping beer, you may remember it as Abacus? Pillow-soft with delicious chocolate malt tones and boozy from its barrel ageing, it oozes its extraordinary craftmanship.
Fragrant with bourbon and oak up front, it delivers hints of dark chocolate overlaid with vanilla, toasted coconut and underpinned with a touch of dark cherry.
Only 3500 cases have been produced so you'll want to bag yours now. And if you can bring yourself to keep some, Proprietors Reserve Series Barrel-aged beers are ‘built’ to be aged. Carefully store in the dark, where the temperature is below 40F age them for several years.
Watch out for Parabola, the second of Firestone’s Proprietors Vintage Series to be released in the spring and which will be followed by Stikee Monkee
